Ken brings clarity and finely tuned technical excellence to each of his photographs, moving with ease between landscape, still-life, portrait, and narrative imagery. His intense curiosity leads him to discover and render the essence, the form, and the details of each subject. A self described “worker”, it is his mastery of the art and techniques of design in building theatrical scenery, a sail boat, a race car, a house, or playing the blues guitar that culminates in his over-riding passion—the photograph.

An early adopter of the digital camera, he perfects his craft in step with the expansion of his vision. He enhances the images in the classic artistic tradition: he chooses what he sees then translates it through his personal straightforward style. Ken uses the tools of the computer like a darkroom—as part of the photographic process.
